Resumen

Al Andalus was the name of arabic territory, the actual Andalusia, on the iberian peninsular. Today the morrish heritage is one of the most important cultural testimonials in Spain and part of this discovery, that shows you its secrets on boths sides of the mediterranean. This tour leads you along the highlights of Andalusia and North Morrocco and combines them to a unique journey on both continents.
In Andalusia we visit the natural paradise of El Torcal and the El Chorro gorge, followed by Ronda and via Tarifa to Conil de la Frontera where the kilometers of sandy beaches on the Atlantic coast tempt us to take a walk before continuing in the direction of the Sierra Nevada, passing through the fascinating towns of Arcos de la Frontera and Antequera onto Granada. Before crossing the Sierra Nevada we visit the town of Guadix famous for its cave dwellings. Finally we head for the Alpujarras – bend after bend accompanied by the unique scenery of this region. On the moroccan side we explore the impressing surroundings of the Rif mountains and stay in the Kings cities of Meknes and Fés.
The tour offers complete motorcycling pleasure on small, winding mountain roads with stunningly beautiful scenery. The roads throughout the entire route are asphalted. The comfort of a 3* to 4* hotel awaits us after a day's riding.

Etapas
Day 1: Arrival in Malaga
Arrival at Malaga airport and transfer to La Herradura. Your motorbike will be waiting for you directly at the hotel. Introductions over dinner with Spanish wine while giving us an opportunity to discuss our tour.
Day 2: La Herradura - Granada
We leave La Herradura in order to fully enjoy the unique scenery of the Alpujarras to the highest villages in Spain. We take a break in the town of Guadix which is of particular interest because almost half the population lives in houses underground. The trip continues through the Sierra Nevada and we will reach the pearl of southern Spain - Granada.
Day 3: Granada - Antequera
Although today‘s program is dominated by a visit to the Alhambra, one of the most important of Spain‘s cultural heritage sites, we still make sure we get our fair share of biking pleasure. Our route takes us over beautiful mountain passes, through olive groves, past poppy fields and lakes to Antequera.
Day 4: Antequera - Arcos
Today, our route leads to Arcos, riding through wild mountainous countryside and canyons in the Sierra Margarita and the natural wonder of El Torcal, famous for its unusual and unique limestone formations. You will marvel at the stone sculptures created by nature along the spectacular road to El Torcal. Arcos de la Frontera with its unusual backdrop on a rock ridge situated 160 m above the river Guadalete is considered to be one of the most beautiful white villages in Andalusia.
Day 5: Arcos - Jerez - Conil
We make our way to Jerez de la Frontera, the home of the world-famous sherry (Jerez wine), giving us the opportunity to visit a bodega and sample some of the excellent wines. Jerez is not only famous for its sherry but also for its noble thoroughbred horses. We then ride towards the Atlantic coast heading for Conil de la Frontera.
Day 6: Conil - Ceuta
Today we will arrive to Africa. The continent lies in front of us as we ride along the spanish coastline towards Algeciras, where we take the ferry to Ceuta.
Day 7: Ceuta - Meknes
Today we head towards the Rif mountains which define the natural border of Morocco towards de Mediterranean Sea from Nador to Tetuán. The spectacular gorges and canyons of the Rif are the perfect scenery for our ride towards Meknes today. On a certain point of our track we will reach the famous roman city of Volubulis that provides us with an intense feeling about life 2000 years ago.
Día 8: Meknes - Fes
The rural landscape in the surroundings of the cities of the king Meknes and Fes is magnificent and charming. We will be crossing fields and plantations just to reach Fes right on time to visit a part of its ancient quarter (medina).
Día 9: Fes - Chefchaouen
We ride back into the Rif mountains with its century long spanish influence, coming from muslim refugees that escaped from Spain during the kingdom of the catholic kings (reconquista). When we pass by Quarzane we will be observing the andalusian style in a lot of buildings until we reach Chefchaouen, which is our goal for today.
Día 10: Chefchaouen - Ronda
After coming back to the European continent we will start to climb up again. In the south of Ronda numerous small mountain chains offer an ever changing, spectacular landscape and roads that are simply made for our motorbikes. Bend after bend on asphalt surfaces for perfect bike control we experience spectacular views. The town of Ronda is situated on a rock plateau and is split in two parts by a 160 m deep canyon. Ronda itself is also famous for Spain‘s oldest bullring which we will, of course, visit.
Day 11: Ronda - La Herradura
On this last day we´ll be riding along the El Chorro gorge on long-drawn winding roads in the Sierra de las Nieves and finish our journey on the Costa del Sol heading from Malaga back to La Herradura.
Day 12: Return journey
